Working near power lines

Coming into contact with power lines on the job can injure or even kill you. Don’t let a mistake or accident keep you from coming home safe.

If you come across a downed or damaged line, stay back at least 10 metres and dial 911. Stay back at least 3 metres when working near power lines at your home.
